I don't have an ideal beach read because I don't actually like reading at the beach. I don't like reading outside in general. Haha, but I do love a good, fun summery contemporary romance. :)

ReplyDeleteMy ideal beach book is either a mystery/thriller or a light romance. Right now I'm obsessed with the Grisha trilogy by Leigh Bardugo, which blends both with a little magic!
I think I go for any kind of read except the very dark ones.

ReplyDeleteMy ideal beach book , is usually a romance, but could even be a classic or related to a classic story, a different version of one of Jane Austen's books perhaps, or even contemporary, I am so easy to please!

I'll read anything on the beach. Fantasy, dystopian, tear-jerker, you name it, I've read it at the beach. (I live in Florida, so I get to read on the beach a lot.)

ReplyDeleteMy favorite beach read right now would be the book I am reading which is” My Doormat Days” a Novel by Linda Chavez Doyle. I have found this book to be a book I can’t put down, very humorous and a coming of age story.

My ideal beach read is something light and funny!
ReplyDeleteI don't have a particular type of book that I like to read on the beach. I just came back from holiday and I read all sorts of books by the pool/on the beach there e.g. a crime/thriller novel as well as a more cutrsy book about mermaids!
