I had a very busy week :)
I loved all the books I read and I'm thankful for that because the previous week I wasn't able to read even one book and I know for a fact that I won't be able to read this week so I used the time I had to read very wisely...

Yay for Pride & Prejudice! That was an amazing book, and I hope you enjoy it as much as I did. I haven't heard of any of the other books on this list, but Atlantis Rising looks like something I would like. The cover is beautiful! Great choices girl, I will have to check some of these ones out. Awesome haul!
ReplyDeleteMorrighan @ Elysian Fields.
Atlantis Rising is actually amazing (I just finisehd it myself)! I'm actually reading Pride & Prejudice because I watched the movie and I loved it (although I heard that many people hated the movie but anyway) and I decided to read the book as well :)
DeleteGreat books! The Virgin Suicides has been on my TBR for a while. Good to hear that it was so great. I just finished The Law of Moses and The Namesake. The Namesake was okay, but The Law of Moses was amazing!
ReplyDeleteThank you Cynthia and wow this week all the people I know are reading The Law of Moses, I think I should follow their lead...
DeleteI've been wanting to read One Day for ages (haven't seen the film either) will have to! :)

I liked the book, it was really emotional although the plot wasn't that good. I had higher expactations of this book so I can't say I loved it but it was good! As long as the movie is concerned, I didn't like it at all. But that's just my opinion. Maybe if you read the book and watch the movie you'll love them :)
DeleteI've heard amazing things about One Day (the book and the movie) so I hope you enjoy it! Also, I recently read The Virgin Suicides because I wanted to check out some modern classics, and I was surprised to find that I quite liked it! It wasn't a perfect book, but it's so simple and the story is very eerie and a bit creepy. A really fast, well-written read that's super different from any book I've read. Hope you have a lovely December!
ReplyDeleteThank you Chloe! I did enjoy one day (the book, I didn't realy liked the movie) and I totally agree about The Virgin Suicides it was something else.... I've never read anything like it before :)
