    Aw, didn't you enjoy The Big Sleep? I loved Raymond Chandler's stuff when I read it -- very 'of its time', but he was a heck of a prose stylist.

    I have never read The Big Sleep, but I have seen the movie from the 1940's. These books are classics. Have a great week.
