Dirty Billionaire is the first book of three installments in the Dirty Billionaire series and it is also the first book I read by Meghan March.
Holly Wix, a prominent singer, can’t believe she has been coerced to sign a deal with the devil. She hopes to make a name for herself but her label has other plans. Plans that seem to hold her career back instead of promoting it. She has no idea how to get out of the deal, how to escape the label’s plans but one night with a stranger changes everything.
Billionaire Creighton Karas never expected to feel the burning passion he does with a woman whose name he doesn’t even know. Being a millionaire comes with having the means to find her or in this case help her find him. Creighton will do anything to have her back.
As the first installment, I expected the book to be more about the characters’ history than the burning passion between them! The majority of the book concentrates around their chemistry rather than their story. The book was HOT but I’d have liked to see more of a plot.
Creighton was an A level a**hole. He was a billionaire and he wasn’t afraid to show it. He is arrogant, confident and he comes with a matching attitude. Creighton craves challenges; he is after all a man who can and has everything. Holly is exactly what he has been looking for.
Holly was different from Creighton and yet when it comes to business, they are both the same. She’s at the beginning of her career but she has no control over it because of her deal with her label. However, she’s confident that if she tries hard enough she’s going to make it but things don’t look that good. In the beginning of the book her emotions and thought are all over the place but by the end she’s more focused, she has realized what her goal is and she’s going after it; with or without Creighton’s approval.
Dirty Billionaire is a cliffhanger but the good thing is that we won’t have to wait long for the second installment. I have no idea what’s going to happen next but I can’t wait to find out!
