Hi! I'm so sorry guys.Today I was supposed to post my review on Take This Regret but I just finished Dare You To and I couldn't stay away from it.So,enjoy!!!!

Dare You To

By Katie McGarry

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

"There are memories that exist in my mind that are so clear that if I focus on them enough I could practically relive them" -Beth

Warning:Before starting the book make sure you have a box of tissues lying besides you.

When I finished Pushing the Limits and saw that Beth is getting her own story I was beyond surprised to see that Beth isn't getting with Isaiah but someone else!!!I loved Isaiah as much as I loved Noah!!!What a pity!I really wanted to see them together..

Now that I have finished Dare You To I can only say that I couldn't have been more wrong. Although Beth and Isaiah were a nice combination,Beth and Ryan rocked. They chalenged each other, they learned things from each other and they finally discovered what love really is.The main idea of the book was how hard it's for some people to trust others. And for Beth,it was really hard.No one knows better than her what abandonment and betrayal is.

Ryan came into her life when Beth needed him the most.Although they both thought differently, for me they were prefect.Ok,they had major family problems. But who hasn't ???

However, they were times that I did not approve of Beth's actions.Scott, her uncle, gave her the opportunity to live a new life but she didn't take it even when Isaiah and Noah insisted that she does.I'm just glad Ryan convinced her to give him a chance.

As far as Isaiah is concerned, I was so sorry for him.He was so caring, protective and he loved Beth so much. But,I think that Beth was right when she told him that what they share isn't love.

Overall, the book was AMAZING.It was so emotional at times that it had me crying and there were other times that I couldn't stop laughing. Also ,there were some scenes that both Noah and Echo were present.I really enjoyed those scenes. There was even a particular scene in which, almost all the characters were present. Here's a taste: "

Noah "Stare any longer,Ryan, and I'll kick you ass"
Echo "Noah.Don't."
Beth "What did I say about staring?"
Ryan "I apologize"
Echo "See?Manners."
(the scene takes place in a party that Beth takes Ryan and where Ryan meets Echo for the first time)

I absolutely recommend this book and I'm looking forward to reading the next book in the series,Crash Into You ,Isaiah's book(so happy he will get his happy ever after).

The Ghost of Graylock

By Dan Poblocki

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

The Ghost of Graylock is a ghost story for children ten and up.What initially drew me to this book was the mazing cover...Sad but true!!!

Neil and Bee,aged twelve and sixteen respectively have unwillingly been sent to spent their summer with their aunts.Their mother has fallen into depression and all Neil can think about is their mother's recovery.

In the small town of Hedston lurks, indeed,a ghost.Once upon a time, there was an asylum for children, the Graylock Hall, located in the woods. It was said that a nurse, murdered three children under her care by drowning them in the lake.Neil and Bee set off to explore the asylum along with two local boys.

This is a first for me,as I have never read this type of book again. The Ghost of Graylock is a book with vivid description and it is also detailed. But it's not only the ghost story that dominates the book but Dan Poblocki also describes the danger the children are in as well as the bond between the two siblings.

Well, this book was a delightful surprise for me and I absolutely recommend it.It's a nice ghost story with solid characters and plenty of suspense.

Blurb:

Does an abandoned asylum hold the key to a frightful haunting?

Everyone's heard the stories about Graylock Hall.

It was meant to be a place of healing - a hospital where children and teenagers with mental disorders would be cared for and perhaps even cured. But something went wrong. Several young patients died under mysterious circumstances. Eventually, the hospital was shut down, the building abandoned and left to rot deep in the woods.

As the new kid in town, Neil Cady wants to see Graylock for himself. Especially since rumor has it that the building is haunted. He's got fresh batteries in his flashlight, a camera to document the adventure, and a new best friend watching his back.

Neil might think he's prepared for what he'll find in the dark and decrepit asylum. But he's certainly not prepared for what follows him home. . . .
Scary, suspenseful, and surprising, Dan Poblocki's latest ghost story will keep you turning pages deep into the dead of night.

Insanity  (Asylum #1)

By Lauren Hammond

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

"No...

I don't care what the staff tells me.

I. Am. Not. Crazy." -Addy

I Think that words aren't enough to describe what what I really feel for this book.

Insanity is a stupendous novel and a real challenge to readers. There were times that it was so difficult to tell the difference between what's real and what's not.Especially the final chapters were so vague and hazy.

Addy had the perfect life. That is until her mother "left" when Addy was 10 years old.Her father became an alcoholic and began abusing her both physically and emotionally.I'm utterly disgusted by him.He would beat her down and call her names and all because she looked like her mother. The thruth is that when I finally read what had really happened, the only thing that came to my mind was what a pathetic excuse of a man he was,a lowlife.

The story had many twists or so I thought because the main character,Addy, was the narrator and anything that happened before and during her life in the asylum was described by her.Although we don't get to see why she got to the asylum,we see some pieces of her past with Damien, who I can't say loved but surely liked. He is so romantic. Here's a taste of him "Addy, living one day without you would never be for the best. I want you every minute of every day. Forever. I love you.”

She is so obsessed with him that even in the asylum all about she thnks is him.I think that what she saw when she was just 17 has stuck with her even though she has forgotten everything else.

She seems to believe that her life hasn't progressed since Damien's horrible death but it did. She's so lost,I don't know why as the book doesn't elaborate what she did in order to end up in the asylum, which is so messed up.The only thing that I liked of it was Dr. Watson who later reveals his true identity. His so patient and caring.I bet no man in the world would do what he did for Addy. He's awesome!!!

I loved this book. It's just insanely awesome!I definitely recommend it to anyone and I can't wait to read the folllowing book,White Walls.

Blurb:

Sometimes love...can drive you crazy.
Adelaide Carmichael and Damien Allen couldn't be more opposite.
Adelaide's mother abandoned her when she was ten years old, leaving her to be raised by her abusive and alcoholic father.
Damien on the other hand came from a wealthy family, was a local celebrity, and seemed to have a bright future ahead of him.
Despite their differences, Adelaide and Damien were young, wild, and fiercely in love.
And they had a plan.
They were going to run away.
Be together forever.
And their plan was set in motion, until tragedy struck and for some reason, Adelaide wound up in The Oakhill Institution for the insane.
Adelaide has no idea what she did to wind up at Oakhill, but she knows one thing for sure...
She wants out.

Echos at Dawn  (KGI #5)

By Maya Banks

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Wow!!!Another great addition in the KGI series Echos at Dawn was an incredible, worth reading book.Echos at Dawn tells the story of Grace Peterson,Shea's sister, and Rio,member of KGI.

After having escaped from the people who kidnapped her Grace is in need of protection.Guess who will do the job???When Rio volunteers to do the job many brows are raised but no one says anything. So,Rio takes his team and starts looking for Grace. But finding Grace isn't so difficult as protecting her is.Can he really protect her from the people who want to take advantage of her extraordinary ability to heal?

I loved this book as I did with every KGI book.It has a combination of action, romance and suspense that will keep you on the edge.In this book we see how exactly Grace's ability works, how rio and Grace's relationship steadily develops and what a compatible couple they are.

The fifth book in the KGI is definately a must read and I absolutely recommend it.I'm also looking forward to reading the next book in the series Shades of Grey,Cole and PJ's story that will be published at January 1st 2013.

Wicked Nights By Gena Showlater

Wicked Nights (Angels of the Dark #1)

By Gena Showalter

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

“I think that’s the sweetest thing you’ve ever said to me.”

“I am a sweet man.What’s so funny?”

How sweet!!!Loved it....Definately a must read for The LOTU fans but others also.Wicked Nights is the first installment in Gena Showalter's new series,Angels Of The Dark. It's an incredible book which introduces us to the world of the angel warriors who although have suffered a lot, have survived.

Wicked Nights tells the story of Zacharel,an angel warrior, who we have previously met in Lords Of The Underworld series. As a leader of the warriors Zacharel must prevent them from killing any human even if the human is possessed.Annabelle Miller is a tortured soul who saw a demon murder her parents and was later accused for the crime.Having spent four years in an institution for the criminally insane Annabelle finally meets Zacharel. They were both doomed by their first encounter.

This book will keep you on edge as it contains many twists and turns,romance,humor {

“Can I just say what a bad boy you are right now?”

“Of course you can. You just did.”

“No, I mean – Oh, never mind, you spoiled it. "}

painful memories(for both of them) and a lot scenes with an obstinated, possessive, protective, adorable, jealous angel with "cute wings"(Annabelle's words).Despite of everything that each of them had to endure, together they find peace.

In Wicked Nights,we also see many Lords and their "wives" such as Lucien and Anya,Strider and Kaia,Amun and Haidee, sweet, gorgeous beyond imagination Paris without Sienna (A shame but I loved the scene where Zacharel introduces Annabelle to Paris...hahaha),an "angelic" couple Lucander and Bianka and finally we meet many new characters who I hope will get their story soon. Some of them are Thane, Bjorn, Xerxes and Koldo(poor Koldo has no wings but can teleport).

I have to admit that Wicked Nights reminded me a little of The Darkest Secret,Amun and Haidee's story, but I loved it nonetheless!!!It had a nice flow and sequence and I really liked the way things progressed.

I totally recommend this book and I'm looking forward to reading the following one.

Don’t miss the second book in Angels Of The Dark series Koldo’s story, due to hit stores early-mid 2013,BEAUTY AWAKENED coming soon from Gena Showalter.

Yours to Keep  (Kowalski Family #3)

By Shannon Stacey

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

It's the first book I read by Shannon Stacey and I really liked it...I know that I should have started from the first book in the series but when I saw the blurb I couldn't resist but reading it.

Sean Kowalski has just returned from the army and he already has a job, home money and a fiancee.

Emma is in a big trouble. In order to alleviate her gradmother who believes that she needs a man to run such a big house. So,she makes up a story and tells her grandmother that she has a fiance and they are happy(she is not crazy)!!!!With those things in mind her grandmother decides to visit them and when she does the lie unfolds...

While spending time together both Sean and Emma are having fun and discover how compatible they are in both life and bed.*cough cough*.They have chemistry and damn if it doesn't show.I loved every minute of this book and but the last scene was my favourite one..

I highly recommend it and even if you haven't read the previous books(I haven't but I'm planning on it)I'm sure you will make it out...

Favourite lines:
“Are you Sean Kowalski?”

“Yup.”

“I’m Emma Shaw…your fake fiancée.”

“Say what?”

Chasing Nikki

Chasing Nikki

By Lacey Weatherford

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Wow..!!

Chasing Nikki was an incredible book.I looooooved Chase and how strong he was despite all the tragedies life brought on him.He managed to recoved throught all the pain and make himself the person Nikki new he could be.Not only did he survived but he also managed to thrive in the end.

It's so hard to write this review, because I can't stop crying.LIfe is so unfair for some people and Chase certainly one of them.I understand the message of the book "Life is short and unpredictable so live it to the fullest" and I totally agree but I can't accept the fact that someone can really continue after all those things.I know why he could but others wouldn't.I wouldn't.

Chase,is a teenager whose father recently died and decides to deal with his pain by taking drugs and consuming alcohol. After his mother bails him out of jail she decides it will be better if they move. And so they do.New environment is really what Chase needed. He meets new people, makes new friens and encounters Nikki.Nikki and Chase are much alike,so it's not difficult to become more than friends.Although, when they first meet she misjudges him later she understands her mistake.

And so it begins. They go out a lot, spent time together but he never pushes for more.Time passes but they still survive, they dream their future together they make plans and life for once is beautiful.Until tragedy strucks.

I won't say more than that I would never expected the end.I have no idea how Lacey Weatherford managed to write the book,I had to stop every two seconds to grab another tissue and clear my eyes before being able to read again and repeat the process more than a dozen of times. The book cannot be read without having at least two boxes of tissues.Nonetheless,it's the third book I read from only the boy's Pov(yeah..the book is written only in Chase's Pov) although there is a scene where we see things from Nikki's side.

The book is a very emotional one,it broke my heart seeing Chase so hurt ,destroyed and devastated by his own feelings.I guess DEATH can do that to people especially after loosing one you love. The Scene that gets 5 stars though,is the letter scene.I swear I spent a whole box of tissues only for that scene. To be able to look inside her heart was what he required to continue living,to see how proud she was of him,she was the only reason he pulled through the nightmare(because that's what his life was). The only thing I really hated was the Epiloque. It was insulting not only for him but for me too. Recommended it to every boy out there as well as to every romantic heart.
