Wait for You

By J. Lynn aka Jennifer L. Armentrout

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Jacob:“We also told her you weren’t a serial killer,”

Cam:“That’s a glowing recommendation. Hey, at least he’s not a serial killer. I’m going to put that on my Facebook profile.”

Jacob:“And she compared you to Ted Bundy.”

Avery:“I hate you,I didn’t compare you to Ted Bundy. I just said that you never really know a person. Everyone thought Ted Bundy was a pretty cool guy.”

Cam:“Wow. This just keeps getting better.”

Avery:“Sorry?”

Wait For You is a stand alone book written by J. Lynn, aka Jennifer L. Armentrout.

I was so enthralled by this book that I actually stayed up until late(too late)to finish it and hence i didn't even study for school. But it was definitely worth it!!!

Cam,oh Cam!!He was so sweet, confident(arrogant), smart, funny(hilarious ),very mature and a real gentleman. He was so fun to have around. When he wanted something he took it or at least didn't give up until he had done everything he could. And that's our case with dear Avery. Avery it's not your average girl. I really liked and sympathised her but there were times that she was being very stubborn and I know that after what she's been through it's natural to be cautious and wary but come on she had two wonderful friends who adored her and a superhot neighbor who was so in love with her(of couse I'm talking about Cam)....

Letting your past go is not so easy for everyone and especially for people like Avery!!!No one is perfect and I soooooo loved the fact that Cam wasn't perfect either. We have all done things that we are ashamed of.But the thing that I hated the most was Avery's family.I mean what psychopaths! Her mother was such a b****.Even when her own daughter got brutalized, the only thing she was thinking was what would society say and by society I mean their high class club friends.Really???What kind of mother are you???And as long as her father is concerned I didn't like him either. No matter what his wife did or say he should had at least stood up for his daughter.Ts Ts Ts!!!

I absolutely LOVED the secondary characters!!!!!All of them.I wish there was a book written for them as well.Especially for "Senior Fucktard".He was so amazing.Another thing that I really liked was the tortoise.Absofuckinglutely loveed it!!!!And the cookies!Oh the cookies.

So please do yourselves a favor and go read this extraordinary fantastic book.Absolutely recommended.

Some things are worth waiting for…

Traveling thousands of miles from home to enter college is the only way nineteen-year-old Avery Morgansten can escape what happened at the Halloween party five years ago—an event that forever changed her life. All she needs to do is make it to her classes on time, make sure the bracelet on her left wrist stays in place, not draw any attention to herself, and maybe—please God—make a few friends, because surely that would be a nice change of pace. The one thing she didn’t need and never planned on was capturing the attention of the one guy who could shatter the precarious future she’s building for herself.

Some things are worth experiencing…

Cameron Hamilton is six feet and three inches of swoon-worthy hotness, complete with a pair of striking blue eyes and a remarkable ability to make her want things she believed were irrevocably stolen from her. She knows she needs to stay away from him, but Cam is freaking everywhere, with his charm, his witty banter, and that damn dimple that’s just so… so lickable. Getting involved with him is dangerous, but when ignoring the simmering tension that sparks whenever they are around each other becomes impossible, he brings out a side of her she never knew existed.

Some things should never be kept quiet…

But when Avery starts receiving threatening emails and phone calls forcing her to face a past she wants silenced, she has no other choice but to acknowledge that someone is refusing to allow her to let go of that night when everything changed. When the devastating truth comes out, will she resurface this time with one less scar? And can Cam be there to help her or will he be dragged down with her?

And some things are worth fighting for…

Beauty Awakened  (Angels of the Dark #2)
By Gena Showalter

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Axel:“YOU’RE ACTING like a child,”

Koldo:“That’s funny, coming from you,”

Axel:“You threw alcohol at a puny human male.”

Koldo:“He’s lucky to still be alive. I could have thrown daggers.”

Axel:“Wait. Did you think I was complaining? I was actually cheering.”

Wow!Wow!Wow! 4,5 Stars

Another amazing book by Gena Showalter .It's been such a long time since I found out about this book and I finally got to read it...

Koldo has been betrayed by the very people who created him.Firstly, his mother cut his wings(literally) and later his father abused him.Although,I do not condone his mother's actions,I can understand why she acted the way she did.Tragedy stuck Nicola from the moment she was born. From a very early age,she and her twin sister have suffered from heart dysfunction and as if that wasn't enough they lost their parents and little brother in a car accident.

Koldo's on a mission.Until it gets interrupted by a lovely woman.Koldo is not the type of man who lets people get close to him but he makes an exception with Nicola, even though he doesn't know why.Nicola,on the other hand, has been alone so long that she has lost the meaning of life.I really liked, she was strong, courageous, relible and trustworthy. She never, even for one minute, doubted Koldo but instead chose to believe and trust him.

It was so heartbreaking watching Koldo trying so hard to make people love him.I was glad when Nicola made him understand that you couldn't force people to love you, they either did or not.And he surely deserved to be loved. It was so emotional, seeing how shocked he was when Nicola told him that she loved him.The book was just so good.It had a nice flow, balanced portions of action, romance and suspense.

However,I noticed that there were more fight scenes(and I don't mean between the main characters but the secondary ones) and it was quite tiring.I liked the book but I would have loved it if there were more Koldo-Nicola scenes. And I HATED that every time they were together they had to be interrupted by someone.

Overall,it is a worth reading book especially if you are a fan of LOTU.Totally recommended.

Blurb:

His name is Koldo. He is scarred, powerful, his control legendary-and he lives only for vengeance, determined to punish the angel who viciously removed his wings. But if he yields to the forces of hatred, he will be kicked from the heavens, eternally damned.

She is his last hope. Nicola Lane was born with a defective heart, yet this fragile human shows surprising strength as demons stalk her every move, determined to end her. She is the key to Koldo's deliverance...and his downfall. Though he fights duty, destiny and his first addictive taste of desire, his toughest battle will be the one for Nicola's life-even if he has to sacrifice his own...

Dare You To By Katie McGarry

Hi! I'm so sorry guys.Today I was supposed to post my review on Take This Regret but I just finished Dare You To and I couldn't stay away from it.So,enjoy!!!!

Dare You To

By Katie McGarry

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

"There are memories that exist in my mind that are so clear that if I focus on them enough I could practically relive them" -Beth

Warning:Before starting the book make sure you have a box of tissues lying besides you.

When I finished Pushing the Limits and saw that Beth is getting her own story I was beyond surprised to see that Beth isn't getting with Isaiah but someone else!!!I loved Isaiah as much as I loved Noah!!!What a pity!I really wanted to see them together..

Now that I have finished Dare You To I can only say that I couldn't have been more wrong. Although Beth and Isaiah were a nice combination,Beth and Ryan rocked. They chalenged each other, they learned things from each other and they finally discovered what love really is.The main idea of the book was how hard it's for some people to trust others. And for Beth,it was really hard.No one knows better than her what abandonment and betrayal is.

Ryan came into her life when Beth needed him the most.Although they both thought differently, for me they were prefect.Ok,they had major family problems. But who hasn't ???

However, they were times that I did not approve of Beth's actions.Scott, her uncle, gave her the opportunity to live a new life but she didn't take it even when Isaiah and Noah insisted that she does.I'm just glad Ryan convinced her to give him a chance.

As far as Isaiah is concerned, I was so sorry for him.He was so caring, protective and he loved Beth so much. But,I think that Beth was right when she told him that what they share isn't love.

Overall, the book was AMAZING.It was so emotional at times that it had me crying and there were other times that I couldn't stop laughing. Also ,there were some scenes that both Noah and Echo were present.I really enjoyed those scenes. There was even a particular scene in which, almost all the characters were present. Here's a taste: "

Noah "Stare any longer,Ryan, and I'll kick you ass"
Echo "Noah.Don't."
Beth "What did I say about staring?"
Ryan "I apologize"
Echo "See?Manners."
(the scene takes place in a party that Beth takes Ryan and where Ryan meets Echo for the first time)

I absolutely recommend this book and I'm looking forward to reading the next book in the series,Crash Into You ,Isaiah's book(so happy he will get his happy ever after).

That's how Beth finds herself living with an aunt who doesn't want her and going to a school that doesn't understand her. At all. Except for the one guy who shouldn't get her, but does....

Ryan Stone is the town golden boy, a popular baseball star jock-with secrets he can't tell anyone. Not even the friends he shares everything with, including the constant dares to do crazy things. The craziest? Asking out the Skater girl who couldn't be less interested in him.

"She’d expected love to be beautiful. Kind. Good.

She knew now that it could be consuming. Terrifying.

But even in the midst of that terror, love could bring you safety. Hope."
-Katie

Katelyn, aka Katherine, thought she had it all until a fated day changed her life forever...

Well,I think we all know the answer. After a brutal murder,Katherine realizes she has had enough. With the help of Detective Dane Black, she will not only stop the killings, but she will also get her life back.

Die for Me: A Novel of the Valentine Killer will capture your attention from the start till the end. There are so many twists and turns in this book. It's full of suspense and guaranteedto keep you at the edge of your seat. What I really liked about the book was the variety of the characters. Each and Every of the characters was unique in his/her own way.Especially the heroine, which I admired. She was strong and determined to stop Michael, aka Valentine,no matter what she had to do.Dane ,on the other hand ,will do anything to protect her from anyone, even from herself.

An amazing romance-suspense book that anyone should have.I absolutely recommend it to anyone who loves romance, suspense, mystery, thriller and alpha heroes...

Also, tommorow I'll post my review on Take This Regret by A.L. Jackson .

The Indigo Spell (Bloodlines #3)

By Richelle Mead

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

“Under normal circumstances, you inviting me to the bedroom would be the highlight of my day.” -Adrian

Although I finished this book a week ago,I couldn't bring myself to put it down, therefore my review has been delayed.
Ever since The Golden Lily, our characters seem to be maturing more and more.Especially Sydney. The thing about Sydney is that despite her being educated she can sometimes (aka always) be so judgemental and biased.I'm just glad that she finally overcomes this "problem" of hers because 1)she keeps breaking poor Adrian's heart and 2) it was getting one my nerves.

Adrian,oh Adrian...He is such a sweetheart.I really, really love him so much.He is so persistent and stubborn and protective and so many other thngs. What's not to love??? I was so confident that he could reach past Sydney's barriers and finally get to her. They were so in sync.I do not want to spoil anything but there is this scene where Adrian asks Sydney to dance in front of everyone. And when I say everyone,I mean every Moroi, dhampir or alchemist that has attended Sonya's wedding (oh,did I forget to mention that Sonya gets married?).Anyway, one word. M-A-G-I-C. That's what they have together. They are so compatible,so alike.I think that this scene is by far the most startling one in the whole book.

As far as Marcus Finch is concerned,I only have two words to say:Not Impressed,to say the least.I expected him to have a bigger role in the book but I cannot say that I'm sorry the he didn't.He's not an interesting character either.More like a bad influnce. There were times that I felt sorry for him, times that I was greatful to him for opening Sydney's eyes and times that I wanted to kill him. So,if you ask me what I think about him,I'm not sure what will my answer be...

The Indigo Spell was just perfect. It's a book worth-reading and a must for every shelf. The Fiery Heart is the next addition to the series which is going to include Adrian's ROV as well.So brace yourselves, perfect is about to reach the next level.I absolutely recommend this book and I can't wait for November 19th to come.

So,go pick it up right now!!!If not for anything else, you should at least read this book for the Sydrian scenes which are quite a few!!!

Hi Everyone!!!As promised here's my review on Just For Now By Abbi Glines...

Just for Now (Sea Breeze #4)

My Rating: 3 Stars

Favourite Quote:

“Hearts don’t realize they’ve been lied to. They still love anyway.”

My Opinion:

When I found out there was going to be a book about Preston and Amanda I was over the moon.Like suuuuuuuper excited!!!So when I finally read the book,I realized it wasn't what I expected it to be...

Amanda has been in love with Preston her whole life. She tries to make him notice her so hard that it sometimes seems pathetic. And did I mention that she's a stalker.Oh yeah, she is.At the very first page of the book,Amanda has followed Preston in a party where she actually(kind of)lost her virginity to him.The whole scene was a little too much for me cause he was drunk and he actually didn't even remember what happened afterwards or that he hurt her instead of pleasure her. So,after some months have gone by she's still after him even though he has made it clear that he wants nothing to do with her. Some pages after,we see Preston finally giving in and having a relationship with Amanda. They get to know each other better and they realize that there were a lot of things they didn't know about each other. However, what Amanda still doesn't know is how Preston makes ends meet....

I liked the book.I thought it was ok but I just hated the whole "whining" thing by both the main characters.I actually thought that Preston was mature and very respondible and reliable. The way he took care of his siblings was just WOW and I don't think that if anyone else in his age would have done what he did if they were in his place. As far as Amanda is concerned,I didn't really like her.She was immature, she didn't get that most people actually have to work to make a living and the thing that frustrated me the most was that in everything she did she always thought "What will my mother say?".Come on girl grow up!If she really "loved" him she wouldn't care what anyone said.

Oh...In this book we also see again characters from previous books such as Low and Marcus and may others!!!

I can't say that I strongly recommend this but if you enjoy reading realistic books mixed with YA romance then this book is just for you!!! What I strongly recommend though,is reading the previous books of the series...
