I was born and bred in East Yorkshire England, and I still live in my hometown, with my husband and children.

My journey with stories began when I was just a child, I would often scribble down wherever my dreams or imagination took me.

My journey with writing stories, began much later when I became ill and housebound for a period of eighteen months. I decided I would escape real life and become immersed in a story of my creation. With the support of my husband and family my first real story was born. I would stay up night after night tapping the keys of my trusty laptop, while my husband lay sleeping beside me. I was hooked. But it wasnt as easy as that. My story needed work. A lot of it. And it sat on my computer for some years after that. Later on I decided to embark on another journey. I went to university, where I studied Creative writing and english literature.

I then decided with a new wealth of knowledge that I would once again delve into the world that I had created. I had never forgotten the characters and would often think about what I would have liked to have done with them over the years. I had grown to love them for getting me through a very difficult period in my life, and I wanted other people to read all about them. And so I began to rewrite my book.

It wasnt until I delved into the 'Book world' on facebook that I discovered the 'Indie book world.' Its amazing! So many authors are now being heard publishing this way, and I can only hope that my books will leave a lasting memory for some or all of you readers too!

"Hazel."

Liam's voice was calm. It made me pause just for a split second. And then his hand touched my face.

His fingers, gentle but firm, lifted my chin slowly to look at him. When his eyes met mine, his fingers traced a path of heat along my jawline.

He said nothing but cupped the back of my neck and look at me curiously, like he just wanted to observe me but wasn't sure what to do. Our breath mingled in mid air between us. I wondered if he felt the same intense, crackling magnetism that I did.

And his lips fell to mine, completing the kiss that I wasn't bold enough to.

My body responded like I didn't have control of it. I closed my eyes and savored his mouth, returning the pressure and adding the smallest flick of my tongue.

About the author:

Liz Jacobs came over with her family from Russia at the age of 11, as a Jewish refugee.  All in all, her life has gotten steadily better since that moment. They settled in an ultra-liberal haven in the middle of New York State, which sort of helped her with the whole “grappling with her sexuality” business.

She has spent a lot of her time flitting from passion project to passion project, but writing remains her constant. She has flown planes, drawn, made jewelry, had an improbable internet encounter before it was cool, and successfully wooed the love of her life in a military-style campaign. She has been nominated for the Pushcart Prize for her essay on her family’s experience with immigration.

I said it before and I'll say it again now. There is no surpassing Tillie Cole's books for me! The writing is well-constructed, the plot cannot be more beautiful and more captivating that it is and OMG the characters are so well-written. Whenever I read one of her books, I feel like the world she creates really exists somewhere else. God, do I wish that were true!!

When I finished I Do, Babe, I had this weird feeling, like that was the end of the Hades Hangmen series. And maybe that was because Styx and Mae's story sort of came to an end! After everything that happened to them, they managed to survive and stay together, which is a huge accomplishment considering their backround! Tillie really did them justice!! Thank God, there are more books coming though, right?

As always, we got to catch a glimpse of our other favorite characters, like Vike, AK, Ky and my personal favorite, Rider!! Ky was a sweetheart and we got to see his soft side. And, of course, Vike. He is the comic relief in every single book in the series. I hope we get his story soon!!

If you're a fan of the Hades Hangmen series, you don't wanna miss out on this novella. Seriously, go get it and read it. You won't regret it!!

---TRAGICALLY BEAUTIFUL---

This book left me filled with all kinds of emotions. I feel sad, inspired, astonished, frustrated, joyful. And the list goes on!! MM romance is one of my two favorite genres. I'm always hesitant to start a new author for me that writes mm romance, because, obviously, I don't know if I'll like it. I, personally, am very specific about what I like in a book and that only intensifies when it comes to my favorite genre. But, after reading Unsteady, which was my first Melissa Collins book, I can only say that I loved it!! It was absolutely right for me. I am very satisfied by both the writing and the story! It touched all the subjects I want to read in an mm romance, such as conflict, hesitation, depression, social oppression and liberation, happiness. In a word, the book was fulfilling!



The story is about two guys that used to be best friends in high school and just for a small amount of time, lovers! After having to subject to traditional social and sexual rules, Jude pushes Micah away, which results in Micah leaving and joining the army. Fast forward ten years, Micah has PTSD, he is depressed, hopeless, physically and psychologically damaged, suicidal and seeks salvation. The type of salvation only Jude can give him. Being apart for a decade might seem as a lot of time, but when you have the kind of connection Jude and Micah have, it only feels like a small time lapse and as if nothing has changed. They reconnect and realise that they still have deep feelings for each other. They want to try and figure out what went wrong last time they were together so they can avoid doing the same mistakes.

Unfortunately, Micah's PTSD and secrets are getting in the way of their relationship, which might not be that strong after all. At the end, history repeats itself and leaves Micah and Jude conflicted and remorseful.

The story doesn't end there, don't worry. Micah and Jude find their way to each other again and manage to work things out. It's a really beautiful story and it doesn't disappoint in any aspects. Both characters might be vulnerable and withdrawn at the beginning, but at the end they learn how to trust each other and how to be more open with their feelings.

So, if you're interested in a story that deals with high school best friends turned lovers, I highly recommend Unsteady!!!

Melissa Collins has always been a book worm. Studying Literature in college ensured that her nose was always stuck in a book. Tillie Cole hails from a small town in the North-East of England. She grew up on a farm with her English mother, Scottish father and older sister and a multitude of rescue animals. As soon as she could, Tillie left her rural roots for the bright lights of the big city.

After graduating from Newcastle University with a BA Hons in Religious Studies, Tillie followed her Professional Rugby player husband around the world for a decade, becoming a teacher in between and thoroughly enjoyed teaching High School students Social Studies before putting pen to paper, and finishing her first novel.

Tillie has now settled in Austin, Texas, where she is finally able to sit down and write, throwing herself into fantasy worlds and the fabulous minds of her characters.

Tillie is both an independent and traditionally published author, and writes many genres including: Contemporary Romance, Dark Romance, Young Adult and New Adult novels.

When she is not writing, Tillie enjoys nothing more than curling up on her couch watching movies, drinking far too much coffee, while convincing herself that she really doesn’t need that extra square of chocolate.
