“What’s your favorite food?”
“Tacos.”
Tacos? Really? This wasn’t working. He sighed impatiently. “Favorite color?”
“Green?”
“Oh, never mind.”
Samantha Johnston is a reporter determined to survive in the world of journalism. She's determined to not only make it on her own but show her family that she not as incapable as they think she is.
Dominic DeMarco has been living "in front of the camers" as long as he can remember. Everything about him is bound to attract attention. But what nobody seems to know is that he's life has not always been easy. In fact, he's life keeps getting harder as his uncle just stole all his money. Not knowing what else to do Dominic and his agents come up with a plan.
Sam is in the wrong place and at the right time. Helping Dominic with his plan is her ticket to finally write a story that will make the public acknowledge her and get some money. So, Sam agrees to marry and live with Dominic for three months...
"That’s right. Romeo needs to go.”
“His name is Shakespeare and he’s not going anywhere.”
But what neither anticipates is their mutual attraction to grow into something more, something neither thought would be possible but something both seem to want..
An enjoyable read! I has been a while since I read a book like this and belive me when I say that I devoured it. The plot alone was very intriguing but what drew my attention was Dominic. He was protective, fiery, caring, he thought he gave it all but he always kept a part of himself hidden. Oh, he was extermely jealous too!!! He was such a mystery! So many secrets to be unraveled...
"If I agree to be your wife again and five years from now or maybe even five hours, you see me hugging the clerk at the local market and I tell you you’re being a jealous fool, you just need to know that it doesn’t mean anything and that I only love you. No need to make a big deal about a hug.”
A must-read! Absolutely recommended.
