"The Fault In Our Stars" isn't out until next summer but we're already weeping into our cuffs after seeing the movie's official poster. The tagline? "One Sick Love Story." And... we're going to need a moment.
The poster for the flick, part of the YA-book-to-movie craze, surfaced Wednesday (December 18) via Project For Awesome, which is offering up posters for $25, all of which goes to charity. It features stars Shailene Woodley and Ansel Elgort (both also slated to appear in YA adaptation "Divergent") lying face to face, Woodley sporting a breathing tube.
In the film, Woodley plays Hazel Grace, a teen cancer patient who falls in love in a Cancer Kid Support Group.
The film is likely to be one of the biggest tearjerkers of 2014 — at least if the poster and script are any indications. "I cried like five times reading that script," Sam Trammell, who plays Hazel Grace's father, told MTV News. "It's really faithful to the book, and I think a lot of fans are really going to appreciate that. It's gorgeous and sad, too. I spent a lot of time crying."
We've got our sleeves and tissues at the ready.
The flick opens on June 6, 2014.
