The Marriage Bargain

By Jennifer Probst

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

The Marriage Bargain is the first book I read by Jennifer Probst and I really loved it.

This book tells the story of two childhood friends who desperately need to find someone to marry, both for their own reasons. Here is the most hilarious thing, they make up a list on how her and his Mr/Ms perfect should be:

Her list:

1)A Mets fan
2)loves books, art, and poetry
3)believes in monogamy
4)wants children
5)knows how to communicate with a woman
6)loves animals
7)has a moral code of ethics and believes in honesty
8)a good lover
10)Needs $150,000 available cash

His list:

1)A woman who does not love me.
2)A woman I do not desire to sleep with.
3)A woman who does not have a big family.
4)A woman who does not have any animals
5)A woman who does not want any children.
6)A woman who has an independent career.
7)A woman who will view the relationship as a business venture.
8)A woman who is not overly emotional or impulsive.
9)A woman I can trust

Yeah, I guess that they don't get what they wished for but at least they know each other.I loved both Alexa and Nick because even though they claimed not to love each other, their actions said the opposite. They were both jealous, they knew what the other wanted, they encouraged each other, were honest(it's a really hard thing) and they tried to make this "fake" marriage work.Of course, there were times that I couldn't stop laughing(many weird incidents) and other that I wanted to slap both of them so as to see what a wonderful thing they had between them.

I totally recommend this book to anyone who appreciates romance. It's worth reading as it will grip your attention from the first till the last page.

Yours to Keep  (Kowalski Family #3)

By Shannon Stacey

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

It's the first book I read by Shannon Stacey and I really liked it...I know that I should have started from the first book in the series but when I saw the blurb I couldn't resist but reading it.

Sean Kowalski has just returned from the army and he already has a job, home money and a fiancee.

Emma is in a big trouble. In order to alleviate her gradmother who believes that she needs a man to run such a big house. So,she makes up a story and tells her grandmother that she has a fiance and they are happy(she is not crazy)!!!!With those things in mind her grandmother decides to visit them and when she does the lie unfolds...

While spending time together both Sean and Emma are having fun and discover how compatible they are in both life and bed.*cough cough*.They have chemistry and damn if it doesn't show.I loved every minute of this book and but the last scene was my favourite one..

I highly recommend it and even if you haven't read the previous books(I haven't but I'm planning on it)I'm sure you will make it out...

Favourite lines:
“Are you Sean Kowalski?”

“Yup.”

“I’m Emma Shaw…your fake fiancĂ©e.”

“Say what?”

Mine to Hold  (Wicked Lovers #6)

By Shayla Black

My rating: 3 of 5 stars

I have finally finished it!!!!!The reason why I'm saying this is because I really expected more of Tyler...The sixth book in Wicked Lovers tells the story of Tyler and how he ended up where he is now.

Once upon a time, there were two friends one of whom was married. After a terrible accident, the married guy stayed paralyzed from the waist below. One dark night he asked his friend to sleep with his wife(crazy, isn't it). Both his wife and his friend were hesitant but accepted. And so it happended. But after it was done the married man got really upset and threw his friend out of his house and months later his wife as well.(who was pregnant with his friend's child and had nowhere else to go to).I think that says a lot about this man who didn't even look back or even attempted to help this woman who because of his choice suffered. And no this man isn't Tyler.

Tyler loved his friend but he also loved his friend's wife too.So when his friend asked him to sleep with his wife he eagerly accepted. That is,until he threw him out of their lives.Tyler had no idea what he left behind when he left the town they all lived in.So imagine his surprise when Delany(his ex-friend's ex-wife,yeah throwing her out wasn't enough he also devirced her)showed up in his house with a child in her arms and claimed that someone was trying to kill them.

I liked the book,I really did but the story wasn't totally believable and the way the showed they love wasn't enough for me.I do understand that by making love with someone you further connect with him but sex isn't always enough. This couple didn't get it.

While Tyler loved her,she was confused and was trying to deal with her problems. But I never saw that. She was supposed to be strong but the only thing she did when something came up was cry and run into Tyler's arms.Really????I even wonder if she knows what strong means...

Nevertheless It's a great addition in the series and I would only recommended it to those who have read the series or those who love being treated like"delicate flowers".
