Obsession  (Arum)

By Jennifer L. Armentrout

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

“Never in my life had I been more frustrated. Go figure it wouldn't be with a human but a freaking alien. At least I now knew that the male species were asses no matter what planet they hailed from.”-Serena

Hunter is one of the bad guys.Or so I thought...

In Obsession, we see another aspect of the Luxen and it's not good!
Apparently the Arum turn out to be the good guys...

Let me begin by saying how AMAZING this book was!Hunter isn't pretending to be something he's not. He's a hot bad boy and he likes it!But so does Serena...

The are both so strong, arrogant (especially Hunter “Your arrogance is rooted in stupidity.” ), stubborn and together they are just perfect...

Hunter + Serena =
                           description

They have such an intense relationship...

Hunter would sacrifice anything if it meant protecting what's HIS..

I just hope this isn't the end of them.I want to see more of them, more Hunter...

"She was light against my darkness. Serena haven't backed away or hesitated. She accepted me, all of me. She always had."- Hunter

Synopsis (From GoodReads)

He’s arrogant, domineering, and... To. Die. For.

Hunter is a ruthless killer. And the Department of Defense has him firmly in their grasp, which usually doesn’t chafe too badly because he gets to kill bad guys. Most of the time he enjoys his job. That is, until he’s saddled with something he’s never had to do before: protect a human from his mortal enemy.

Serena Cross didn’t believe her best friend when she claimed to have seen the son of a powerful senator turn into something... unnatural. Who would? But then she witnesses her friend’s murder at the hands of what can only be an alien, thrusting her into a world that will kill to protect their secret.

Hunter stirs Serena’s temper and her lust despite their differences. Soon he’s doing the unthinkable—breaking the rules he’s lived by, going against the government to keep Serena safe. But are the aliens and the government the biggest threats to Serena’s life… or is it Hunter?

  1. It doesn't seem like a book I'd like (not a huge fan of Ms. Armentrout), but I'm glad you liked it, and I'm considering getting an eBook. :)

  2. I'm really excited to get more information on the Luxen. It's awesome that JLA decided to write an adult book that ties into this series. I still need to read it but I can't wait!
