So when Chance reappears in her life she doesn’t know whether to trust him or not. Her desire for Chance consumes her but she can’t be with him knowing that she’s just another job to him.
Gwen isn’t as fearless as she wants people to believe. Someone is after her and she knows it. After receiving a disturbing call, Gwen runs to Chance who realizes that if he doesn’t find her stalker in time, then he might lose the only woman he desires.
Cynthia never disappoints. From the moment I found out that she would be writing a new series, I was beyond excited. Her stories are always filled with suspense, mystery, action, twists and turns, alpha-heroes, romance. They always manage to keep you on the edge of your seat.
This story wasn’t any different. Chance was an alpha hero all the way. Determined to do anything to keep Gwen safe (a little too safe) and eliminate the threat. Gwen too, was a strong, stubborn character, tired of living her life so guarded.
Moreover, we get to meet some other characters such as Chance’s partners: Lex and Dex, Will (Gwen’s father) and Faith (the sheriff) there’s a romance there too, Ethan (Gwen’s ex) and his best friend and lawyer Sophie.
One thing I always notice when I’m reading a book by Cynthia, is that she always manages to make me want more! Since this is the first book in the series, I definitely know that we will be getting more and I can’t wait for it.
I’m looking forward to reading Want Me (Lex and Sophie’s book)!

This sounds pretty promising! The plot itself seems like it would be a little overused but from what you've stated, it looks as if the author made it unique enough to throw the reader a few curve balls. I also hate it when they have the girl under protection some whiney, useless moron. At least that didn't seem the case here, lol.
